What is the Temperature in H E Double Toothpicks?
These can be confusing times! But happily, I’ve come to terms with them in my mind, and I’m finally at peace with what I’ve done.
What am I talking about? Let’s call it the “Covid-19 Serpents”.
I’ve seen so many, very compelling and convincing videos talking about the evils of the Corona Virus, the “vaccine”, and the evil intentions of the “deep state” as well as the New World Order… and to be honest with you… I’m totally convinced that there are indeed, sinister people out there seeking to do harm to this nation and to the entire world.
I believe with all my heart, that the Rothschilds, the Clintons, the “Big Tech” hippies, Al Gore and the climate radicals, the Bill Gates, and the Global Warming cabal are all working together to destroy humanities belief in God, to mock and belittle all things sacred, and to roll out the red carpet for the Antichrist so he can make his entrance onto the world stage.
I believe that so much of what is happening in the United States at this time, is NOT based on actual science, nor are they the results of natural viruses gone amuck but are in fact part of a sinister plot to defeat and destroy Donald Trump and his legacy, and by extension, to destroy the United States. These psychotic Democrats and liberals would rather see America totally destroyed and become a third world country than allow President Trump to sit in the Oval Office ever again!
It’s no coincidence that the hundreds of thousands of people who died as a “result” of Covid-19 in 2020, were actually about the SAME number of people who would normally be expected to die annually… but last year, the N.W.O. people insisted that ALL these deaths were the result of this horrible “pandemic” … (or more correctly… this “plandemic”) to bring the U.S. to its knees and usher in the evil days prophesied by John the Revelator. (And isn’t it strange how so few people died during the lockdowns by things such as the flu, heart disease, cancer and other non-COVID-19 maladies? It’s either an amazing coincidence… or is it something else?)
I’ve been one of those people who said that I will NOT take the vaccine, because I don’t believe it’s safe, necessary, NOR do I believe that it was ever properly vetted. I think it’s all part of a Satanic plan, pushed on us by a few truly evil people, but supported by many “well-intentioned people”, who honestly believe they are doing good, but never-the-less actually been duped by an evil cabal whose goal is to bring about the “great reset”.
So… having said all that, I have a confession to make. I took two of the people I care for in my home, down to a clinic, where they were given the Covid-19 Vaccine. But that’s not all… you see… I got vaccinated as well.
Now… before anyone casts the first stone, I feel I need to explain my rationale for doing this thing… this thing that I have not supported for so long.
I’ve noticed many people, including church leaders, encourage us to get the vaccine, so we can be safe, help protect others, and be “good global neighbors”. I’ve personally struggled with that advice. So, when I was asked to take our special needs people in for their vaccinations, I almost felt like I was betraying them in some way. However, rather than try to justify my personal actions to appease my own feelings of guilt, I decided to go online and seek more wisdom from those I trust most in this life, which are our dear Prophet, and the Apostles whom the Lord has chosen to teach us and offer us direction.
And this is what I found… Following is a statement given by the First Presidency the last part of January, 2021…

In word and deed, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has supported vaccinations for generations. As a prominent component of our humanitarian efforts, the Church has funded, distributed and administered life-saving vaccines throughout the world. Vaccinations have helped curb or eliminate devastating communicable diseases, such as polio, diphtheria, tetanus, smallpox and measles. Vaccinations administered by competent medical professionals protect health and preserve life.
As this pandemic spread across the world, the Church immediately canceled meetings, closed temples, and restricted other activities because of our desire to be good global citizens and do our part to fight the pandemic.
Now, COVID-19 vaccines that many have worked, prayed, and fasted for are being developed, and some are being provided. Under the guidelines issued by local health officials, vaccinations were first offered to health care workers, first responders, and other high-priority recipients. Because of their age, Senior Church leaders over 70 now welcome the opportunity to be vaccinated.
As appropriate opportunities become available, the Church urges its members, employees and missionaries to be good global citizens and help quell the pandemic by safeguarding themselves and others through immunization. Individuals are responsible to make their own decisions about vaccination. In making that determination, we recommend that, where possible, they counsel with a competent medical professional about their personal circumstances and needs.
So, there it is… the “official statement” of the First Presidency. And I have long believed, and continue to believe the principle espoused and articulated by one of my personal heroes… namely, Bruce R. McConkie, who declared unapologetically… “When the Prophet speaks, the discussion is over.”
But what of my “personal” beliefs? (I argued with myself) What is MY responsibility to ME, to my own feelings, and those beliefs that my family and I have considered to be “right” for so many years”? What do I do with that? I have to admit… I struggled with this!
So, I took it to the Lord in prayer… and this is what I came away with.
I was reminded of the story of Moses, and the “fiery flying serpents”. The children of Israel were struggling spiritually, and not being as faithful as they ought to have been. Because of their pride and faithlessness, the Lord sent these nasty serpents to humble them, maybe to “cull out the herd” and correct their current course.
They began to complain to Moses, and the Lord commanded Moses to take his staff, and fashion a brass serpent to wrap around that staff, and He instructed Moses to inform the people that if they wanted to “live” … that they needed to “look upon that serpent” with faith in God… (and by extension, faith in Moses’ word) and they would be healed. We are informed that many “perished” because of the simpleness of the task, and their lack of faith became their demise.
I think that this just may be “our brass serpent” in the wilderness, and maybe we need to reconsider, or reprioritize the things we honestly believe might be happening, and simply accept by faith, the recommendations given us by “our current Moses”. (I wonder if that’s President Russel M. Nelsons real middle name?)
But then the natural man in me argued… “but what of this stupid virus, which I DO believe was largely manufactured to bring about evil conditions, to tear apart our nation, and pit people against one another”?
And then I remembered that those fiery flying serpents weren’t placed in the camps of Israel just for decoration or amusement. They were placed there to try the faith of the people. And those who passed that test, (as crazy, or as unlikely as that simple solution seemed to be), were those who listened to their prophet… and put the word of the Lord before their own personal beliefs. (Remember, the Lord has stated that He WILL try the FAITH of HIS PEOPLE.)
“But… (argues the natural man in me once again…) what if this IS indeed a plan to kill off most of the earth’s inhabitants, so Bill Gates and the N.W.O. freaks can depopulate the world and “save our planet?”
And then the “man of faith” inside counters with… “If in fact, this IS a sinister plot to kill off the people of the earth… is it possible that the Lord might just use men’s evil plans to perform His righteous works and do HIS will as well?”
If I have indeed been vaccinated with an evil vaccine, but I did so at the behest of the Prophet of God, I cannot look upon that act as a bad thing, but instead I look upon this vaccine NOW as my Golden Ticket! Because if I DO DIE, doing what the Prophet of the Lord has asked me to do, I will surely go to a place reserved for the faithful. Our scriptures teach us that the Lord’s Prophet will NEVER say or do anything that will lead us astray.
And IF we are faithful and obedient, then, IF the time does come when the Vaccine is somehow triggered to cause us harm, I firmly believe that the Lord will once again intervene through His Prophet, and provide our own “Brass Serpent” to look upon, and live.
So, after much thought and deliberation, I have finally come to peace with my decision, and I hope that all of you can do the same… that is… be at peace with yourself, and do whatever it is that YOU feel you ought to do. The Lord will bless us all “according to our works, according to the desires of our hearts.” I’m grateful to belong to the Lords True Church! So, for me, the bottom line is this…
…It will be a cold day in H E Double Toothpicks before I ever take a stand against the Lord’s Anointed!
